I've been a gamer since Jr. High School. I have been playing Warhammer 40K since the first edition hit in the 1980's. I have been playing RPG's for a few years longer than that. I've since begun playing Warmachine, dabbled at D&D Miniatures and tried a few of the CCG's. All this time comics have also been part of my literary upbringing as well.
The idea for this site came when I was trading some Warhammer figures online. I sent dozens of emails to get a simple trade accomplished, and when I finally sent the person my address, he emailed me back that we lived so close together; we might as well just meet up to do the exchange. (Turned out he lived in the same neighborhood I did!) That planted the seed. |

Sure, sites like ebay and Bartertown let you find just about anything you could want, or find people who want what you have to offer; but none of the sites let you find people that were close to you! So I set out to build a site that would let you make easy trades with people all across the internet, or with people that shopped at the very same store you do. After several years of development we have reached a point where I feel we have a usable website that will truly help gamers reach other gamers, allowing much easier trades and access to other people who share the same hobbies you do meet up, swap figures, cards and all the other stuff that makes being a gamer so much fun. |
